The Harris campaign reports raising $310 million in July.

The campaign of Vice President Harris revealed on Friday that it had raised $310 million in July, increasing its war chest to $377 million. According to the campaign, July was the most successful month for grassroots fundraising in presidential history.

After President Biden withdrew from the contest on July 21, the vice president declared her desire to run for the Democratic presidential nomination; the total amount raised in July includes funds that Biden had previously raised.

The $200 million that Harris raised in the week following her announcement is also included in the haul.

More than two million people contributed for the first time in July, accounting for two thirds of the total funds raised, according to the campaign.

According to the campaign, July had more than 10 times as many Gen Z donors than June, and 94% of donations were less than $200.

The campaign of the former president Trump raised around $139 million in July, it was revealed on Thursday. It has $327 million in cash on hand in total.

On Friday, the Harris campaign revealed that since Biden's reelection campaign began in April 2023, the Biden campaign—which is now the Harris campaign—has raised $1 billion. When Biden withdrew from the race, he gave Harris control of the Biden-Harris fundraising committee.
