The fast food behemoth has temporarily reduced the hours of its breakfast service throughout the country by 90 minutes due to an egg scarcity triggered by a bird flu epidemic.
It is presently providing its full breakfast menu until 10:30 a.m., rather than the normal lunchtime.
"Like many retailers, we are carefully managing the supply of eggs due to current industry challenges," McDonald's Australia stated in a statement to the BBC.

" In the last two months, several bird flu strains have been found in eleven poultry operations in southeast Australia. According to the authorities, everything is under control.
