A man was found concealing 100 snakes in his trousers.

Chinese customs officers detained a man who had 104 snakes in his pants.

Customs officials claim that a guy attempted to smuggle over a hundred live snakes into mainland China by putting them inside his pants.

After going through the "nothing to declare" barrier at the border between Shenzhen and semi-autonomous Hong Kong, the unidentified traveler was halted, according to officials.

He carried 104 snakes in "six canvas drawstring bags" inside his pants when he was inspected, according to a China Customs statement.

It continued, "It was discovered that each bag contained live snakes of various sizes, shapes, and colors.

" A pair of agents can be seen inspecting clear plastic bags containing live red, pink, and white snakes in a video that was made public by Chinese customs.

Even though they were primarily little, that is a sizable and squirmy collection of writhing reptiles that anyone could fit in their pants.

Strict biosecurity and disease control laws prohibit the introduction of non-native animals into the country without prior clearance.

The customs authority stated, "Those who break the rules will be held liable in accordance with the law," but did not detail the man's punishment.

In 2023, a lady was arrested at the same bridge while attempting to transport five snakes hidden inside her bra.

China is one of the world's largest hubs for animal trafficking, and officials have been cracking down on the illicit trade in recent years.
